Notes
You can enter any specific notes with running Linux on the Asus K45VM here.
- Video: works okay into Intel Graphics, but needs to install the bumblebee packages and xorg-edgers PPA. You'll need to also install compizconfig-settings-manager and do as on this page to restore Unity on Ubuntu. KDE works okay after this
- UEFI: You need to use Boot repair to make it works properly with UEFI active… You can deactive it on BIOS, but it was not tested boot without UEFI
