Actually the SD card reader/writer of my UL30A-QX130 doesn't work out of the box on Ubuntu Karmic (9.10 using linux-image-generic-2.6.31 and backport-modules). Webcam is also flipped upside down here, but this can be worked around using software (such as 'filters' in 'cheese').

There are also some ACPI warnings and issues with the video module ('drm') / chipset (i915): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/487185 http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14781

The video issues are said to cause screen flickering on 2.6.32 (they do not on 2.6.31, but video performance is still severed).

Everything works on Ubuntu Karmic and fast, except webcam that is upside down :)

with 12.10 : slow
