The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 needs the proprietary ATI driver to function. Since support was only recently added to this driver most (all?) Linux distribution do not include a current enough driver so the driver needs to be installed manually.
The main problem with the Asus W2W is with the graphic controller but after some configuration work this laptop works just fine.
