Above tested with Debian 8 (Squeeze). Essentially everything I tried except bluetooth works.
The mute key works fine, but unmute only unmutes the master channel, not the speaker/headphone channel, so the sound doesn't come back. Vol up/down fn keys work fine.
This seems to be an eminently useable machine.
