The Dell Latitude 6430u is a good choice for Linux.

I have Trisquel GNU/Linux 6.0 Toutatis running on this laptop.
It runs very fast.

Screen good
HDD SDD is good.
Graphics Chip comes up as unknown but I get grapics non-the-less.
VGA Out Not Tested
HDMI Out Not Tested
Sound good
Bulti-in Microphone Not Tested
Headphone Jack Not Tested

Ethernet good
Wireless Did not work, had to buy new card from www.thinkpenguin.com
Bluetooth same as above.

I have installed OpenSuSE 12.3 on the Dell Latitude 6430u, core i5 3437U, 8GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, 1600×900 LCD.

HDD SDD is good. Trim is enabled by myself.
