With the non-working touchscreen, the Fujitsu LifeBook P1620 is not a good choice with Linux.

I'm running ubuntu 9.04 desktop and have issues with the touchscreen and buttons on the screen.

Power management problems of old are a thing of the past but I really miss my old p1610 as at least I could use the tricky yet effective conan solution for the serial touch screen interface.
Anyone out there had any success?
