You will probably have some trouble running linux on this Laptop, if you are already used to linux and know how to solve thos problems, there should be no problem, as war as I know.

Discussion
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS w/o any problems. Only two buttons of five on edge of screen do work out of the box but it is configurable using the linux tools to map keys.
