The 1280×800 screen resolution of the Presario V2000t is not immediately available until you run the 915resolution tool. The Configuring the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 & 950 guide can help you with this issue.
After only some minor configuration work the HP-Compaq Presario V2000t worked flawlessly on Linux. There were no other issues during the installation.
