Running Mint 19.1 with no real problems. Install was pretty easy (small bios/setup mods). Biggest problem for me is system getting hot. Fans always seem to be running high (lots of noise). Doesn't do this in Windows 10. But as far as OS stability, WOW! LOVE updates now. I'll try to come back if I find anything to “adjust” the temp/fan noise.

I installed arch linux on my hp omen 1 TB HDD, 16 GB nvidia gtx 960. Xorg as display server, openbox as windows manager and lxpanel, bumblebee for nvidia. It dual boot with windows 10 using systemd-boot boot loader. It is working well and running super fast

Mageia, Linuxmint, and Manjaro are triple booted to my recently purchased Omen 15 laptop - 128 GB SSD, 2 TB HDD, 16 GB memory. All three systems boot off the SSD, home drives are on the HDD. I had to, and still am, tweaking EFI and Grub2 to streamline the boot loading. Mageia currently boots by default - I can bring up rEFInd if I press ESC upon initial powerup/restart. rEFInd boot loader gives me access to either of the three systems. My goal is to get the three systems to present themselves without rEFInd intervention for boot up. It's a nice box for the money and I look forward to playing with it a bit. I sort of wished I'd kept Windows 10 on one partition - it came installed with it - but didn't want to deal with the hassle right now.
