Notes

General

Graphics

The display worked at full resolution 1440×900. Also, console framebuffer is works fine at 1024×768 during the boot process. I needed to install the proprietary NVIDIA driver to get the desktop effects working correctly.

Summary

No special configs required during install. The HP Pavilion dv9825eb works just fine with Linux.
