I recommend to install a distribution with Kernel 2.6.38 or higher to avoid Wireless problems.
Only Hibernate and Suspend-to-RAM not working at this time.

Looks like solution has been found to fix black screen issue :

This laptop doesn't work with Linux. Intel display driver has issues that cause black screen after loading display driver. Some patches are available, but they usually don't work at all. I would like to know how submitter of this page got his U160 working with current Linux distribution?
