This laptop was tested with Gentoo unstable

Summary

The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge S430 works mostly fine with Linux. Suspend also works e.g. in Ubuntu 12.10 with updated BIOS from Lenovo support, version 2.08, released 26 Nov 2012.
