Discussion
T520 (42433ZG) works out of the box with Ubuntu 11.04, 11.10, 12.04. It is critical to update BIOS to the latest version to avoid kernel panic.
I have frequent panic on resume. Is that a symptom of the defective BIOS you mention? Could you add BIOS versions affected by the defect?
