Discussion
Mine works without any problems running Linux Mint 10: it provides a solid wifi connection straight off the live disc and has no issues running headphones / external speakers, which had been temperamental under Ubuntu Lucid.
I saw a solution here http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=54928
I get some difficulty with the fan ! Laptop get hot and fan don't run fast enough a kernel module exist thinkpad_acpi.ko but kernel refuse to load it on debian/squeeze!
modprobe thinkpad_acpi
FATAL: Error inserting thinkpad_acpi (/lib/modules/2.6.32-5-686/kernel/drivers/platform/x86/thinkpad_acpi.ko): No such device
other then that everything works And GNU/Linux is wonderful. I could never return to Microsoft not even if they pay me !
