Works with Kubuntu 9.10
Bad laptop. Noisy, hardware unstable and built in weak plastics. Touchpad multitouch. Average quality screen. Two hours battery long.

Every device works fine in Kubuntu 9.10. ATI drivers (9.12) are not stable enough. Liquid cooling system is not quiet as I expected when I purchased it. The worst: Screen hinges break!!!! Screen hinges are not strong enough and plastic cover breaks in one year long.
Frame is very weak. When I hold laptop, it seems as if every piece is detached.
Kubuntu 8XX gave me a lot of problems with cpu multicore and ACPI. It was fixed in Kubuntu 9XX. ATI drivers are easy to install but every time I “dist-upgrade” I have to check compatibility and stability. Ethernet did not work until Kubuntu 9.04
NOTE: My memory may fail: Versions and dates may vary
