Notes

Tested with Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala.

To enable HDA Intel sound:
sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
and add this line
options snd-hda-intel model=laptop
at the end of the file, then reboot.
