I am running Linux Mint 13 with Mate on this machine. You have to choose sdb for the boot loader to get the system to work. Although it is loaded alongside Windows 7 dual booting does not work. To use Windows you have to run the recovery program which deletes Linux. If I find a solution for this I will add it here.
