Bightness needs to be controled from scripts
echo -n 94 > /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness
94 = full brightnexx
1 = Dimmest

I forgot to mention that you must type eject to extract the CD or DVD from the drive. You can make up a clickable bash script to eject or? Possibly there is a proper way to do this in Puppy Linux that is not obvious to me.

To be able to use WiFi you must first enable the WiFi card. During boot up Control [F12] until the [F12] key is lit up white. If it is amber the WiFi is shut off and Linux will not recognize it. The touchpad is still not working 100% correctly but a USB mouse works fine. This is running PUPPY Linux Tahr 6.05 64 bit.
