This is a guide to running Linux with the Samsung R65 laptop, model R65TV02. Samsung's R65 is a lower to middle end laptop which incorporates excellent Linux compatibility.

The NVIDIA graphics chip found in the R65 can work with either the open source nv module or with the proprietary module from NVIDIA.
No issues were experienced when installing an up to date Linux distribution on the Samsung R65. Linux installation was a breeze.
