Discussion
Installed Ubuntu 12.10 amd64
NOT using Unity. Using KDE instead (by installing kde metapackages)
Have been running it for about 6 weeks.
Shutting down doesn't always work properly.
Need to use the power button about 1/2 the time. Hold it down for 6s.
Error messages shown while shutting down indicate problems with the ethernet adapter, and possibly other devices.
Apart from this, everything else seems to work.
