Introduction

For the A65's Radeon 7000 you can use either the open source radeon module or ATI's proprietary fglrx module. For installation instructions for the fglrx module you can view our Configuring an ATI graphics chip guide.

This model Toshiba of mine has run every flavor of Ubuntu dating all the way back to 7.04, all with no problems at all. Everything(but wireless back in 7.04) has worked from the point of each installs 1st boost.

The only issues were the wireless drivers way back in the 7's that needed to be downloaded as I don't remember them being included within the install images… took just a few extra minutes so it's not even an issue actually.

This older robot(circa 2004) is still running and in fact I type this review on the very Toshiba being reviewed here!

i installed kubuntu 10.04 and the touchpad works fine.
have you had any luck with the wireless?
