The Toshiba Satellite M300-M305 works with fine with Linux.
Discussion
Tested m305 with Quantal 12.10 Ubuntu 64 bit ran pretty stable and fast even though its not an AMD
and Ubuntu 32 bit found few issues with the generic Kernel (restart resume issue)
Reverted to the low latency Kernel and it is just fine has a slight over heat on all kernals
so switched the API settings its cooling fine …Also the volume wheel triggers the volume notification with the bubble pop sound (super sensitive) Toshiba's fault not Ubuntu I haven't looked in to disabling it just put some hot glue on it if you can keep yourself from hitting it
