Notes

The Intel graphics version of this laptop works fine. You need the proprietary NVIDIA drivers if you have that graphics chip in your laptop. See the guides on this site for installation details.

My i5/intel graphics Tecra M-11 does not wake from suspend under Ubuntu 13.04. Also cannot install Google Chrome browser because a libudev version requirement “cannot be satisfied”. Battery life is terrible (< 2 hrs) but I think this is a characteristic of the machine. Sound initially did not work but mysteriously started working after I ran sound test in Ubuntu system panel.
