Tried amd64 iso's of Ubuntu 12.04, 13.04 and Fedora 18, they all booted with SecureBoot enabled, installed completely, but the harddisk installations wouldn't boot. The UEFI boot manager simply doesn't let me boot from the harddisk. I had Windows 8 (amd64) installed and it worked properly.

I've tried the Boot-Repair tool from the Ubuntu repository, it “fixed” the GRUB bootloader, but the system still didn't boot.

I've also tried reinstalling grub2-amd64-efi-signed, and added the grubx64.efi loader to the existing EFI partition that Win8 created, and also added the entry using efibootmgr, but without any positive result.

Apparently the Toshiba Tecra R950 simply only boots Windows (it does boot Linux efi images from a CD or USB stick apparently).
